William Greider over at Alternet is discussing the possibility of debt forgiveness as a solution to the crisis of capital.

I think it’s their only way to avert the Consumers from creating their own local economies, after much hardship.

Debt forgiveness could also bring down the financial system. It is something that would finally affect the bankers, or the bankers would have to go on a property confiscation spree as a condition of “forgiveness.”

That’s what’s amazing about this. The bankers may finally have to accept a haircut in order to save the System, and even debt forgiveness is not a sure thing. So it’s a game of chicken between the bankers and the rest of us.

A game of chicken on a sinking ship, that will sink everyone, including the bankers.

Another possibility is that debt forgiveness could lead to a new spurt of economic growth. If this happens, some people will say, “excellent, business as usual again!” A lot of money will be made for a while, adn there will be a new batch of fools who think it’s “forever.”

I knew a real estate broker making a killing back in 2004-2007, and he said that “the housing boom will last for at least the rest of my lifetime.” He was in his 50′s, so he was banking on another 20 years at least.

The thing is, the people who realize the boom isn’t forever can get in on the Ponzi early and get out early, and then short the fools. They have been playing this game with us long enough that we can begin to count the cards, so to speak.

It’ll probably be another real estate boom, driven by debt forgiveness and building housing for immigrants. Make a quick killing, invest your profits in “new urbanist living” that is, multifamily real estate in SWPL urban areas (aka latte towns, like Putney VT and Northampton, MA). A multifamily SWPL house can be teh beginning of a localist economic commune.

Men will man up when women man down. The one must follow the other. The polarity cannot be reversed.

That’s what Occupy Wall Street is. They were promised that if they loved non-whites enough, and lived to serve them, they would get a middle class lifestyle. This worked for decades.

It’s no longer working. The multiculturalism industry gave them paper shuffling jobs that were a higher EROEI (energy returned on energy invested) than being independent people. But those jobs have been cut, and everything is going to get cut even more. People who have cushy positions today will be “occupying the street” next year, and more the year after that.

For the past 50 years, since the “Great Society” we have become a country built on bullshit. Since 1979 the economy has been contracting, and only debt has kept the illusion of growth.

I have long been predicting the demise of the anti-racism industry. They don’t do anything productive, and yet they collect billions, if not tens of billions, in paychecks. The anti-racism/multicult industry is a huge bribe of middle class whites to go along with “anti-racism” which is of course nothing but anti-white-ism. When this incentive is gone, all bets are off.

If there is one thing I understand about white multiculters, is that they like their paycheck and their cushy lifestyle. Their devotion to the multicult is all about the money. When that incentive disappears, the “default liberal” middle class is done. They will have nowhere to go, except our camp.

We are going to have lots of disenfranchised people, myself included. Of course I have been preparing myself for this for years, so I might get lucky. Then again, maybe not. The best Navy Seal or Olympic swimmer can drown in a tsunami.

Barring total and sudden “doom,” we have to get people living a new way — local industry, local farming, local processing, and sharing. Sharing housing, cars, and tasks of living.

It’s too bad people are waiting to the very last minute. I know poor people in their 20′s who absolutely do not want to do anything but hang out and watch movies and play videogames and just barely make their bills. They don’t have to beg for food yet, so they don’t have to wake up quite yet. Hit that snooze button for another 5 minutes! I know a guy who likes to drink a lot, and spends a good amount of his meager paycheck on beer. I offered to give him a beer making kit to make his own beer. He could even sell it to his friends. He said “No, I’m not into that kind of thing. I don’t have the patience.” OK, whatever.

When this Reserve Army of the Idle is forced to actually make their own beer, dig their own potatoes, et cetera, we are going to have a very different country, and a very different culture.

Prediction:

The US government is going to make higher education much more affordable, or the project of Cultural Marxism will fail.

If you think about it, a huge amount of average American kids go to Cultural Marxism U, which supports so much of the “default liberal” point of view. It is one leg of the tripod, along with public primary education and mass media, that buttresses the multicult.

College or university education is officially unaffordable, because of the student loan bubble. No one would disagree with this.

I want to digress a moment, because there are workarounds to get a college education on the cheap. I am a graduate of a 2nd tier private college in New England, and I did it for about 10k because I found workarounds. Tuition at the time for full time dorm students was 15k a year, so I got a degree for 1/6 of the going rate. Even in 2011, I’m willing to bet my particular workaround would get you a college degree for 15k.

That said, most people aren’t finding the workarounds. If they start looking for the workarounds, that in itself will burst the college bubble. The bubble depends on people seeing a college education the way they see a house, as part of “the American dream.”

It is a view of education as a product to be consumed that will give you more buying power, as diet pills might give one more sexual market value. It worked, for a good 35 years.

Higher education failed, however, by graduating a lot of people who lacked practical skills. Granted, practical skills had been outsourced to Asia, and American college graduates were trained principally to administer the American Empire and the Multiculturalism Religion. There is little prestige left in engineering or computer science; the last “guaranteed job” is in administering multiculturalism.

Multiculturalism is a jealous god, which destroys all competing power structures, even when these power structures sign it’s paycheck.

That’s how pathetic it is. It all started with people who “bite the hand that feeds them,” and it will end symmetrically. Multiculturalism is a self-liquidating ideology, it is a ecstatic burning off of surplus. It is a Darwinian bottleneck. True white multicultists are the epic failures of evolution. They are self selected human sacrifices:

They are like people who rev up an engine to it’s maximum rpms for as long as possible, just to see what will happen. It is about the experience of a 37 yo SWPL moving in to a house with several roommates, and successfully pooling resources and sharing.

This is what I advocate doing, at least temporarily. Living like this can either be an opportunity to have more free time and less obligation to “run the rat race,” or any opportunity to sprint the rat race in a short term goal to save up to own a multi-family and be the landlord. Start off as a renter with other people, save money and learn property management, and work towards being a landlord.

You will have to solve basic problems you may have in getting along with other people. If one house doesn’t work out, try another. It may take you a few tries to learn how to live with others. But this will make you a better, more self-aware person if you are able to look at yourself objectively and critique yourself honestly. You will do better in intimate relationships if you learn how to get along with housemates. And if you get along with your housemates, you will be fundamentally happier.

This 37 year old woman is divorced. She was married for 2, shacking up for 2 before that with the same herb. She probably needs socialization training, and so did her herb as well, which is why the marriage ended. After living with housemates, maybe she’ll get housetrained and learn how to be a wife.

A lot of us grew up in broken homes and aren’t “housetrained” to actually cohabit with someone else. Living in a house with housemates won’t just save you money, it’s sort of like training wheels for a successful LTR. Make sure anyone you would marry is also house-trained.

House-sharing can also lead to car sharing, and in the article one of the guys grows a garden. It’s very easy to grow enough vegetables for 5 or 6 people, if there’s someone to prepare them when they harvest. Also, with the money one saves, you can buy from local farmers. They will give you a deal if you are a regular or bulk customer.

There is a bigger picture to adopting this lifestyle. You will hurt “the economy.” Huge corporations will make less profit, especially when this catches on. It will be equivalent to a viral, global economic rebellion.

Large corporations barely grow, but they take in a vast amount of wealth. They can’t get much bigger, but they sure could get a LOT smaller.

The house-sharers are going to be the ones that teach the rest of society how to live and survive the contracting economy. They are, in a way, doing “urban homesteading,” simply by sharing and eliminating economic redundancies. It is a way to downsize the corporations, the way they downsized us.

Who has something more likely to be proud of – a kid who spent hours and hours practicing guitar, to the point where he can now play beautiful, soul-inspiring music….or the kid who spent hours playing every song at “expert” level of Guitar Hero?

Now, you can now just turn on the liquid crystal flat screen, fire up the gaming console, sling the plastic guitar and furiously hit the five colored buttons in patterns timed to the latest pop rock music, and you too could be virtually headlining Madison Square Garden with your virtual Rock band!

Brilliant. Galt describes the blue pill existence perfectly. Perhaps the real meaning of the Matrix movie was the subculture of “gamers.”

These are basically males who have “dropped out” from being men, and being citizens. They are cowards who have fled the battlefield of reality. Which is largely why America is getting race-replaced (for now).

I quit mass media when I was 15, about 25 years ago, because I despised it. I was one of the frogs that “jumped out of the pot,” when mass media became very liberal and anti-white and for that matter misandrist. I despised the sitcoms and the laugh tracks. When I happened to be somewhere where a television was on playing a sitcom, I would hear the similar conversational patterns and the laugh track. It was more like a bad spoken broadway musical with a laugh track as a conductor, than a piece of theater. So when I would happen to hear a sitcom, it would make me think of my classmates at school. They would imitate the same speech patterns and dynamics, the same highs and lows and accents and jokes as sitcoms, and they would even laugh in unison like a laugh track.

I felt like we were all “experiments” we were all Psychological Lab Rats. The TV/video games is this grand experiment on humanity.

People who are socialized into television raise their children to be television socialized.

My kid is one of the few in the area who is not TV socialized. Pop culture only has a passing influence on her, and she is very engaged in the real world. All her teachers noticed that she had a very good attention span, and some would figure out that she didn’t watch TV. Teachers can see the difference in TV socialized kids and those who aren’t. It’s very stark.

The best way to raise your kids without mass media is not to consume it yourself. Sure I watch a movie or two a week with the wife, but that’s the sum of my mass media consumption. But most of the time we are engaged in the real world, and when my daughter was younger, we took her on all sorts of real world activities — hiking, bicycling, to the beach, community activities. She is not shy about talking to adults like so many kids, because from an early age we just assumed she could engage the world, and she went and did it. My mother takes her out to dinner with her friends, and my kid was arguing politics with 60 year old ladies when she was 8. A lady asked her if she like Bush or Kerry and she said “Nader,” and explained why.

So I guess we could call this “reality socializing,” as opposed to TV socializing.

The big problem with our world is that so many are “TV socialized” and thus have dropped out. I bet the ruling elites are psyched to have us in this condition. They are desperate to keep the status quo going, because if they can no longer maintain “the automatic earth” of supermarkets and such, the TV socialized will be forced to engage the world. A whole world of people will be forced to “grow up” all at once. This would probably end the mass media grip on people. They fear this outcome. I believe it’s inevitable. Red pill, or die.
